Putin wants govt pay attention to tech, fincl independence in 2023

MOSCOW, Jan 27 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the government jointly with the regions and the central bank to pay attention to strengthening of the country’s technological and financial independence, according to the relevant decree released on the Kremlin’s website on Friday.

“The government of the Russian Federation in teamwork with the bodies of the executive power of the regions of the Russian Federation and the central bank must pay special attention when implementing measures of reaching the national goals of development of the Russian Federation for the period till 2030 to reaching of the following key goals in 2023…strengthening of the technological sovereignty of the Russian Federation; ensuring of financial sovereignty of the Russian Federation,” the document read.

The report must be presented by March 1 and later on a monthly basis.
